Counting

So, here's my breath
and the most basic thing
to do with it
is to count it,
so I count it
to ten,
because the Zen master
suggested that,
and I have been through
a million ways
of meditating,
and the first one
was to just gaze
at the wall
and watch my blinking,
so the second one
was to count
my breath
to ten,
and just recently
I have gone back
to that technique,
just for the heck of it.
