but I think that things talk
and things think
in some way that science,
who thinks that things are dead,
doesn't know about,
so I was going to the bathroom
when the dryer got my attention
by talking without a sound,
and I remembered that it had done
that earlier in the morning,
so I checked the lint trap
and found a large amount of lint
which I removed,
and a thought of "Thank you"
popped into my mind,
so I patted the dryer,
and I may be crazy
but I really do believe
that things are alive
with some sort of a mind
