Sounds Of Peace Day

So the night
is as long
as the day
and on this day
of peace
I just heard
a lawnmower
which sounded
peaceful
but even that
brings up notions
of poor little blades
of grass
getting their heads
chopped off
but the lawn
probably doesn't mind,
since it's only really

a haircut.
