Love Is The Great Teaching

It seems that all
the great religions
have taught love
and songs and poems
mostly are about love
and the hippies
yelled about love
but really, I think,
love is kind of an empty thing
isn't it?
like there are words of love
and thoughts of love
and feelings of love
and actions of love
but love is probably
some sort of chemistry
like the brains of a person
who loves
are different from the brains
of a person who doesn't,
but love may just be
what we mean when we say
that everyone has the Buddha nature,
which could just be
nothing more than love.
