THE PRIZED WAYS

All through my life
some people that I respected
have said that Zen and art
were the greatest ways to go
and even though many others
warned me not to follow
those directions, I did
and struggled even at the risk
of my life for them
and I won these greatest ways
only to find now that for some of us
what we actually won
was the booby prize.
